HOOP

Legal & privacy

Clear terms for a sensitive subject.

Effective August 28, 2026. These launch terms describe how HOOP handles financial information and the limits of its guidance.

Privacy

HOOP stores the information you enter, account identifiers, assessment snapshots, goals, priorities, and action progress so the service can provide and preserve your financial-health history. HOOP does not sell personal data.

Access is limited to your authenticated account. You may permanently delete your HOOP account, authentication identity, and linked HOOP data from Preferences. Operational logs avoid financial values and retain only request metadata needed for security and reliability.

Terms of use

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for deciding whether any suggested action fits your circumstances. Do not use HOOP for unlawful activity or attempt to access another person’s information.

The service may change as its deterministic methodology is versioned. Completed assessment and result snapshots retain the methodology version used when they were created.

Financial disclaimer

HOOP provides educational financial-health calculations, not financial, investment, tax, legal, credit, or insurance advice. Scores and actions are automated estimates based only on the data you provide. They do not predict outcomes or guarantee financial performance.

Consider a qualified professional before making consequential financial decisions. If information is missing, incompatible, or cannot be calculated safely, HOOP marks the result unavailable rather than treating the value as zero.

Questions or incident reports should be submitted through the project owner’s published support channel.
